Spectacles CAN kill

Or at least turn you blind. I know I've mentioned before that perfume kills, but I didn't realize spectacles could too. I've got my reasons to say so.

Incident #1
This happened a few years back, when I was still in primary school. I used to sit at the back in the car when my mom sent me to school. We got into an accident one day. I was going,"Aiyoh...so painful..." and my mom got rather worried, wondering if I had injured myself badly.

What happened was when the collision occured, my face slammed into the back of the driver's seat. It wouldn't have been so painful if I wasn't wearing specs. I already have a rather...flat nose before that accident, so that incident made me feel as though as I've turned into a Pekingese.

Oh, the driver's seat had butter stains too, as I was eating my breakfast.

Incident #2
I was in Form 1. Our sports house didn't have enough members for the Inter-House volleyball competition, so I got dragged into it (although I know nuts about volleyball at that time). I wasn't sure if it was because I was exhausted, or I felt too pressured, or some unknown form was occupying my body, but I spaced out half-way through the game. I stared at the ball, which was speeding at me, partly due to gravity, partly due to the force of the female gorilla who "spiked" (smash in volleyball term, I believe)the ball. I just stared. And stared. And the next thing I knew, I was staring at the sky. I saw stars too. Lying down on the ground during the match wasn't too bad. I was tired after all. It was nice to relax. Alas, the others don't think so as they quickly pulled me up. -_-

Oh, I was wearing specs. I touched my numb nose. Blood. The specs cut my nose, fortunately, just lightly. Instead of a Pekingese, I then felt like an airport runway. No, I'm NOT referring to my chest, ok?

Incident #3
HAPPENED today. Fortunately my nose wasn't involved. I don't think it can get any flatter -_-|||
I was at Megamall today, with my mom and dad. We were going down the escalator when I bent down to whisper into my mom's ear. Never thought that she'll suddenly turn around and our heads collided. THIS time, the one wearing specs is my mom. I now have a bluish spot next to my right eye. I can only be glad that she's not wearing those pointy specs that the late Lydia Sum is wearing. It wouldn't be a blue spot anymore...there'll be a hole instead -_-.
